tension headaches
Tight-band skull pain
Tension headaches are the most common type of headache, characterized by dull, aching pain and tightness around the forehead, temples, or back of the head.
Unlike migraines, they typically lack throbbing intensity or sensitivity to light.
Stress, poor posture, and muscle strain in the neck and shoulders are common triggers: I get tension headaches when I've been staring at screens all day.
