temperature checks
Forehead thermometer scans
Temperature checks are measurements of body temperature, typically taken at entrances to buildings or events to screen for fever as a sign of illness.
The practice became widespread during the COVID-19 pandemic, when businesses, schools, and airports used handheld infrared thermometers to scan foreheads: Everyone had to pass a temperature check before entering the office.
