temperable
Able to harden
Temperable describes something capable of being tempered—hardened, strengthened, or moderated through a controlled process.
Most often applied to metals and glass that can undergo heat treatment: temperable steel, temperable glass for shower doors.
The word also applies to anything that can be adjusted or brought into balance: a temperable enthusiasm.
