taco salad

Edible bowl meal

Taco salad is a Tex-Mex dish combining salad greens with seasoned ground beef, cheese, tomatoes, beans, and other taco fillings, often served in or with a fried tortilla shell.

The dressing is typically salsa, ranch, or a creamy chipotle.

Despite the name, the cheese and meat make it closer to a taco than a salad: I ordered a taco salad and pretended it was healthy.
