table felt
Green card cloth
Table felt is the smooth, tightly woven fabric covering the playing surface of pool tables, card tables, and gaming tables.
It provides a consistent surface for balls to roll or cards to slide across.
Traditional billiard felt is green, evoking the grass of outdoor lawn games from which many table games evolved: The cue ball glided across the worn table felt.
