casino floor
Where slots live
The casino floor is the main gaming area of a casino where gambling takes place—the space filled with slot machines, card tables, roulette wheels, and craps tables.
The term distinguishes this area from restaurants, hotels, and entertainment venues that casinos also house: Security watched the casino floor from cameras overhead.
By extension, it can refer to the casino gambling industry generally.
