surfed
Caught a wave
Surfed is the past tense of surf.
The original meaning is riding ocean waves on a board: We surfed all morning at Malibu.
By extension, to surf is to move through something in a similar gliding, searching way—especially channels on television or pages on the internet: I surfed the web for hours, He surfed channels looking for the game.
