stockable

Able to shelve

Stockable describes items that can be kept in inventory or stored for later use.

The term appears mainly in retail and warehouse contexts: Most canned goods are stockable for months.

Perishables that spoil quickly are not stockable.

The word also applies to shelves or storage spaces capable of holding goods: a stockable pantry.
