stepkids
Spouse's prior children
Stepkids are the children of one's spouse or partner from a previous relationship.
The term is informal and affectionate compared to the more formal stepchildren: I'm taking the stepkids to the zoo this weekend.
A stepparent has no biological connection to their stepkids but may raise them as their own.
