star jasmine
Pinwheel-flowered vine
Star jasmine is an evergreen climbing vine with fragrant white flowers, native to East Asia.
Despite its name and jasmine-like scent, it belongs to a different plant family.
It's popular for covering fences, trellises, and walls: The star jasmine on the back fence is in full bloom.
Also called Confederate jasmine.
