squircle
Square with curves
A squircle is a shape intermediate between a square and a circle—a square with rounded corners so smooth it approaches circularity.
The term blends "square" and "circle." Squircles appear frequently in interface design, particularly as app icons: iOS uses squircles instead of simple rounded rectangles.
