spiritual law
Divine governing rule
Spiritual law refers to principles believed to govern the metaphysical or moral universe, analogous to how physical laws govern matter: the spiritual law of karma, the spiritual law of attraction.
In religious contexts, it often means divine commandments or principles that transcend human legislation: Paul distinguished between the spiritual law and the law of the flesh.
The concept assumes an ordered cosmos where actions have spiritual consequences.
