spirit week
School pride stretch
Spirit week is a period, typically five days, when a school encourages students to show enthusiasm through themed dress-up days and activities.
Common themes include pajama day, decade day, or wearing school colors.
Spirit week usually culminates in a pep rally or major athletic event like homecoming: We're doing throwback Thursday for spirit week.
