spatterwork
Flicked paint method
Spatterwork is a decorating technique in which paint or ink is spattered onto a surface, typically by flicking bristles or using a fine screen.
The method creates a mottled, textured effect: The walls were finished in spatterwork to hide imperfections.
Also called spatter painting or, in some contexts, splatter technique.
