Copper braid tool
Solder wick is a braided copper ribbon used to remove solder from electronic components and circuit boards.
When pressed against molten solder with a hot iron, the braid draws up the solder through capillary action, allowing clean removal of connections or correction of soldering mistakes.
Also called desoldering braid or desoldering wick.
