social code
How we behave
A social code is an unwritten set of rules governing behavior within a group or society—what to wear, how to greet people, when to speak or stay silent.
Unlike laws, social codes aren't formally enforced but carry consequences: violating them risks embarrassment, exclusion, or disapproval.
