skittling
Toppling wooden pins
Skittling is the act of knocking things down like skittles—the bowling pins used in the British game.
The word appears in cricket when a bowler rapidly dismisses batsmen: He skittled the tail end in three overs.
More broadly, it describes toppling things in quick succession: The economic crisis went skittling through emerging markets.
