ski trails
Snowy downhill paths
Ski trails are marked paths down a mountain designated for skiing or snowboarding.
Trails are graded by difficulty—green circles for beginners, blue squares for intermediate, black diamonds for advanced.
The term also applies to cross-country skiing routes through flat or rolling terrain: The resort has over fifty ski trails.
