Low skating spiral
A sit spin is a figure skating move in which the skater spins on one foot while lowering into a sitting position, the free leg extended forward.
The spinning leg bends deeply at the knee while the body stays low to the ice: Her sit spin was perfectly centered.
Variations include the pancake sit spin, where the skater folds forward over the extended leg.
