Height-changing work surface
A sit-stand desk is a desk designed to be used while either sitting or standing, with a height-adjustable surface that moves up or down.
The design addresses health concerns about prolonged sitting: I got a sit-stand desk so I'm not slouched in a chair all day.
Also called a standing desk, though that term sometimes refers to fixed-height desks meant only for standing.
