Vulgar bathroom term
Shitters is the plural of shitter, a vulgar term for a toilet or bathroom.
It can also refer disparagingly to people, especially those considered annoying or contemptible: Those shitters left without paying their tab.
In poker slang, shitters are bad hands that look deceptively playable.
The term carries the same taboo weight as shit, from which it derives.
