share-alike

Copyleft licensing requirement

Share-alike describes a licensing condition requiring derivative works to carry the same terms as the original.

If you modify or build upon share-alike content, you must release your version under identical restrictions: The Creative Commons share-alike license lets you remix the work, but your remix must also be share-alike.

The term comes from open-source and creative commons movements.
