set builders
Theater backdrop creators
Set builders are workers who construct the physical environments—rooms, streets, landscapes—used in film, television, and theater productions.
They translate designers' plans into three-dimensional structures, working with wood, metal, and other materials to create everything from realistic interiors to fantastical worlds.
The set builders worked through the night to have the courtroom ready for Monday's shoot.
