service-level

Agreed quality benchmark

Service-level describes standards or metrics that define the quality of a service, especially in business and technology contexts.

A service-level agreement (SLA) specifies what performance a provider guarantees to a customer—uptime percentages, response times, support availability.

Service-level objectives are internal targets organizations set to meet those guarantees: We're not hitting our service-level targets this quarter.
