semi-transparent
Lets some light
Semi-transparent describes something that lets some light through but obscures what lies behind it.
Unlike fully transparent materials, semi-transparent ones reveal only vague shapes or colors: semi-transparent curtains, semi-transparent glass.
The term applies to physical materials and digital elements like overlays or filters.
