Game backup locations
Save points are designated moments in video games where progress is recorded, allowing players to resume from that location after failure or when returning to the game.
The term extends metaphorically to any checkpoint or fallback position: I wish life had save points.
Some games offer unlimited saves; others restrict them to create tension.
