sauteed mushrooms
Buttered skillet fungi
Sautéed mushrooms are mushrooms that have been cooked quickly in a pan with butter or oil over high heat until browned and tender.
A classic side dish or component in countless recipes: steak with sautéed mushrooms, I added some sautéed mushrooms to the pasta.
The technique concentrates flavor and gives the mushrooms a slightly caramelized exterior.
