saddle soap
Tack cleaning product
Saddle soap is a mild soap used to clean and condition leather, especially saddles and other horse tack.
It typically contains ingredients like lanolin or neatsfoot oil that moisturize leather while cleaning it: Give those old boots a good rubbing with saddle soap.
The name persists even when used on leather goods that have nothing to do with horses.
