rotorless
Lacking whirling blades
Rotorless describes machines or devices that lack a rotor—the rotating component in motors, helicopters, or turbines.
The term appears in technical contexts describing alternative designs: rotorless drone technology, a rotorless magnetic motor.
Something rotorless achieves its function through means other than rotation.
