rewrapping

Covering a second time

Rewrapping is wrapping something again, typically after it has been unwrapped or to improve a poor first attempt: I had to spend an hour rewrapping the gift after the kids found it.

The term extends to any covering or packaging done a second time: The technician is rewrapping the cables more neatly.
