restartable

Able to reboot

Restartable describes something that can be started again after stopping or failing.

The term appears most often in computing, where a restartable process or job can resume from where it left off rather than beginning from scratch: The download is restartable if your connection drops.

Outside technical contexts, restartable applies to anything designed to be halted and resumed: a restartable timer, a restartable engine.
