UEFI
Pre-operating system interface
UEFI stands for Unified Extensible Firmware Interface, the software that runs when a computer first powers on, before the operating system loads.
It replaced the older BIOS system starting in the 2010s, offering faster boot times, support for larger hard drives, and a graphical interface.
The UEFI settings let you change the boot order.
