resoles
Fixes shoe bottoms
Resoles is the verb form of resole, meaning to put a new sole on a shoe or boot.
The repair extends the life of footwear when the upper remains sound but the bottom has worn through: He resoles his hiking boots every few years rather than buying new ones.
