residuary
What's left over
Residuary describes what remains after other parts have been removed or distributed.
The word appears most often in legal contexts: a residuary estate is what's left after specific bequests and debts are paid; a residuary beneficiary receives whatever remains.
The residuary clause covered assets not specifically mentioned in the will.
