rematerialization
Becoming solid again
Rematerialization is the act of becoming material again after having disappeared or dissolved.
The word appears most often in science fiction, where characters or objects rematerialize after being teleported or phased out of existence: The transporter malfunctioned during rematerialization.
Outside fiction, it can describe anything that reappears after seeming to vanish: the rematerialization of old political conflicts.
