rematerialized
Reformed after vanishing
Rematerialized is the past tense of rematerialize—to take physical form again after having dissolved, vanished, or become immaterial.
The word appears most often in science fiction and fantasy, where characters or objects disappear and reappear: The ghost rematerialized in the hallway, She rematerialized on the transporter pad.
Outside genre fiction, it describes anything that returns after seeming to vanish: The funding rematerialized just before the deadline.
