refugee visa
Displaced person's permit
A refugee visa is an official document allowing someone fleeing persecution, war, or disaster to enter and remain in a foreign country.
Unlike tourist or work visas, it grants legal status based on the holder's need for protection rather than their purpose of travel: They waited months for their refugee visa to be processed.
