redrilling
Boring holes anew
Redrilling is drilling again—either to enlarge an existing hole, correct a misaligned one, or return to a site for additional work.
Oil companies redrill wells to access deeper reserves or improve flow.
In manufacturing, redrilling corrects initial errors: The holes didn't line up, so we had to redrill the entire panel.
