reclose

Seal once more

To reclose is to close again after having been opened.

The term appears most often in electrical engineering, where circuit breakers automatically reclose after tripping: The breaker will reclose three times before locking out.

More generally, anything that was closed, opened, and closed again has been reclosed: She reclosed the lid and set the box aside.
