reburied

Put underground twice

Reburied is the past tense of rebury—to bury again.

Human remains are sometimes reburied after exhumation for forensic examination, relocation of a cemetery, or repatriation to ancestral lands: The soldiers' remains were reburied with full military honors.

Objects can also be reburied: She reburied the time capsule in a drier spot.
