Bicycle cargo platform
A rear rack is a metal frame mounted over a bicycle's back wheel for carrying cargo.
Panniers, baskets, or bungee-strapped loads attach to it: I strapped my groceries to the rear rack.
Most commuter and touring bikes include mounting points for rear racks, which can typically carry 20–50 pounds depending on construction.
