A radio script is the written text for a radio broadcast, whether for news, drama, advertising, or other programming.
Unlike scripts for visual media, radio scripts must convey everything through dialogue, narration, sound effects, and music cues: The radio script called for thunder as the detective entered.
Scripts for commercials are often called spots.
