racing drone
Competitive aerial vehicle
A racing drone is a small, high-speed quadcopter designed for competitive drone racing.
These aircraft prioritize agility and speed over camera quality or stability, typically featuring first-person-view (FPV) cameras that transmit live video to goggles worn by the pilot.
Races take place on obstacle courses where pilots navigate gates and turns at speeds exceeding 100 mph: She built her own racing drone from a kit.
