pyromancer
Wielder of flames
A pyromancer is a practitioner of pyromancy—divination by fire.
In fantasy fiction and games, the term has evolved to mean a magic user who controls or conjures fire: The pyromancer hurled fireballs at the advancing army.
The original sense of reading omens in flames is now largely forgotten outside academic contexts.
