pull-down stairs
Folding ceiling steps
Pull-down stairs are a retractable staircase that folds into a ceiling panel, providing access to an attic or loft space.
When not in use, they lie flat against the ceiling, concealed by a door or hatch.
A cord or pole pulls the assembly down, unfolding the steps for climbing.
Also called attic stairs or drop-down stairs.
