private parts

Below the belt

Private parts is a euphemism for the genitals and, in women, the breasts—body areas typically kept covered and considered inappropriate to touch without consent.

The term is often used with children when teaching bodily autonomy: No one should touch your private parts without permission.

Adults tend toward more specific or clinical language.
