preview night
Early viewing event
Preview night is an event held before an official opening, giving select attendees early access to an exhibition, convention, sale, or performance.
Museums offer preview nights to members before public opening.
Comic conventions use preview night for badge holders to shop and explore before the main crowds arrive: We snagged the exclusive figure on preview night.
