preshrink
Contract fabric first
To preshrink fabric is to shrink it during manufacturing so it won't shrink further when the consumer washes it.
Most cotton clothing is now preshrunk: preshrunk denim, preshrunk cotton tees.
The past tense is preshrunk, which doubles as an adjective.
