prayer circle
Communal spiritual gathering
A prayer circle is a group of people who gather, often in a physical circle, to pray together for a shared purpose or on behalf of someone in need.
The term also refers to the practice itself or to a network of people who commit to praying, even when not physically together.
Prayer circles are common in Christian communities but appear in other religious traditions as well.
The church organized a prayer circle for the family after the accident.
She asked to be added to the prayer circle list.
