prayer circles
Communal spiritual gathering
A prayer circle is a group of people who gather, often in a literal circle, to pray together for a shared intention—healing, guidance, or support for someone in crisis.
The term also refers to the practice itself or to informal networks that coordinate prayer among members: She asked her prayer circle to pray for her mother's surgery.
Common in Christian communities but not exclusive to them.
